A “Boss” Who Understands the Struggles of Workers

I am a political atheist now because I do not believe in our political leaders from the left or the right. Using only song titles, here is a half-serious, half-humorous message about our politics and why Bruce Springsteen should be nominated for President in 2028.

Bruce Springsteen was “Born in the U.S.A.” and grew into his own in New Jersey, which is a tough place, just like the“Streets of Philadelphia”. Americans have been “Waitin’ on a Sunny Day” for years and Springsteen can take us back to the economic “Glory Days.” You see, Springsteen cares about his hometown, your hometown, and “My Hometown.”

Our country has seen “The Badlands” and has been down “Thunder Road” and we have “one last chance” to save our democracy. Almost none of us are happy with the world as it is, but he can help us navigate around the rough spots in “The River” of life. Instead of being riders on a “Downbound Train” we should look for a way to work in harmony despite our differences. Professional politicians have pretended to be for working people, but it was all just a “Brilliant Disguise.” Americans work hard and we should be able to afford a little fun after we clock out and are “Out in the Streets.”

Even at 75 years old Springsteen has a “Hungry Heart.” There is no one out there who can intimidate Springsteen because he is “Tougher than the Rest.” He will tour the country like no one before because he was “Born to Run.” We need a leader who can bring working people of different backgrounds together with ideas that “strike a chord” and harmoniously uplift everyone’s voices.

“I’m on Fire,” but I’ll end it here — This has been my “Letter to You” about how America can become the “Land of Hopes and Dreams” again.
